Tax Return Searches Set to Move in Early 2010

As 2009 comes to a close there is little doubt that filing a tax return is going to be on the minds of many hard working Americans.  Many people will consider the deductions they can make and business owners will attempt to compute their write offs.  When looking at the Google Trends chart for “tax return” you can clearly see there are two distinct time periods in which Americans search this term.

The first move up is right as the new year rolls around and many people receive their tax forms from their employers.  The next huge spike is when April 15th nears as the deadline for taxes is set.  There is currently a strong move higher in searches for “end of year tax strategies” and “tax write-off ideas.”  Most people want to save as much money on their taxes as possible and deductions and write-offs are the easiest way to do this.
