When it comes to smart phones there are really only two players in the game at the present time – the IPhone and the Blackberry. In less then a week we are likely to see the Google Nexus One challenge the smart phone field but that will be an article for another time. The Blackberry obviously got the leg up on the IPhone as it came out several years earlier. The IPhone was welcomed with huge fanfare but which smart phone gets searched more? The Google Trends chart comparing IPhone to Blackberry shows that the IPhone is definitely much more popular in terms of searches.
As Google gets involved in the smart phone spectrum it will be very interesting to see who they take market share from. The amount of searches for Blackberry has been on a steady increase but is this going to chance with the IPhone and the Nexus One taking over as the top two?
