Clue Searches Spike During the Christmas Holiday Season Then Decline

The boardgame Clue is a classic that many Americans love to play, especially during the Christmas Holiday season.  There is a steady increase from October through December then we see a huge decline.  There is little doubt that many shoppers are looking for this game to buy as a Christmas or Holiday present.  Once the Christmas Holiday season is over the amount of searches for this game fall off the face of the earth until the next October.  The Google Trends chart clearly depicts the rise of interest during the holidays.

It is interesting to note that Clue is searched the most in Norway and Oslo, Norway is far and away the #1 city to search for this term.  You can expect to see the number of searches for Clue to remain low until the end of next summer; unless there is a movie of course.
