Brett Favre Retirement News Believed by Only 50% of America – Vikings QB Could End Career in 2010
Brett Favre retirement news is believed by only 50% of America according to an ESPN poll on Outside the Lines. The Vikings quarterback could end his career in 2010. Late Monday night Favre started sending text messages to teammates and friends stating that he was going to retire in 2010. While he claims he is retiring no one truly knows what will happen until the first week of the season. Brett Favre has done this before so no one really knows what will happen over the next few weeks. There is still a chance he could show up for the first game.
There have been many mixed signals as some friends and teammates are reporting that Favre has said nothing while others say that he sent text messages claiming that he would retire. Even if Favre claims that he will retire we will have to wait until the first few weeks of the NFL season to see Favre not on the sidelines to believe it.
