2010 Brett Favre Retirement Story and Jokes Becomes News in August AGAIN! Is This a Surprise?

The 2010 Brett Favre retirement story and jokes have become news, once again, in August.  Each and every preseason it seems to be the case that Brett Favre becomes headline news with a possible retirement.  Sadly, it has gotten to the point that absolutely no one believes him as even the Las Vegas lines did not move that much.  It was never released officially by Brett Favre yesterday and today he is claiming that text messages were not sent to Vikings management.

Whatever the case is, one thing is for certain, Brett Favre moves ratings.  Yesterday, Google was swarmed with Brett Favre retirement searches and Colin Cowherd pointed out that his ratings popped greatly.  This will likely be the case until we get a final announcement from Brett Favre or the Minnesota Vikings.
