What America is Searching

“I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, it’s a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do, and that enables you to laugh at life’s realities.” - Dr. Seuss

Having the ability to not think about personal finances and enjoy college football has helped many Americans when it comes to happiness.  Even those who are struggling through the Wells Fargo home loan modification process are finding that college football can put a smile on your face.  Try not to get too wrapped up in college football as it is very important to remember that these are just 18-21 year old kids and they are going to make mistakes no matter how badly you want them to prove you otherwise.

After some of the early performances of the college football season it will come as no surprise to see many college students and young adults come up with some great 2010 Halloween Costume Ideas.  With college students enjoying Halloween more than anyone look for some interesting costumes related to players who have been held out by the NCAA as well as players who have had other issues in the recent past.

The NFL TV Schedule kicks off next Thursday night but this Thursday night college football will dominate with a double header.  It is usually not the case that the NFL goes up against college football but they will do so next Thursday night as the NFL will open the season on NBC with the Minnesota Vikings traveling to New Orleans to take on the Saints.  There is very little doubt that this NBC game will get a huge rating but the rest of the Thursday night games should go to college football.

Over the next several months it will likely be true that many look for Florida bad credit unsecured personal loans as a way to borrow money during these very troubled economic times.  It is always smart to do plenty of research before deciding on any loan type as interest rates will be very important.

Labor Day TV Sales and car deals could be very popular in those few hours that college football fans will not be watching their favorite teams.  Getting out early Saturday morning might be a good idea anyway as you will want to catch the picks of Kirk, Demond and Lee before the games kick off at noon.  Coming home with a new flat panel TV for the 2010 college football season might be just what the doctor ordered.  HH Gregg, Best Buy, WalMart and Target are sure to have some great deals going on this holiday weekend.

It will likely be the case that many are going to start looking for Christmas TV sales in hopes of getting a brand new TV before the college football bowl season starts.  It will be interesting to see just how many people make that major purchase in the month of December.

The fun and excitement begins tomorrow with Southern Miss heading to South Carolina and USC traveling to Hawaii.  Another great game that many people have not thought about is Pittsburgh going out to Utah.  Utah has been a top 15 team for quite some time and Pittsburgh has a running back that could be considered a Heisman Candidate in Dion Lewis.  That should be a great game to watch on Versus if the ESPN game of Southern Miss and South Carolina does not live up to an exciting game.  Staying up late and watching college football is always fun and that will be possible on Thursday night as the USC Hawaii game does not start until 11:00 pm on the east coast.

Now that the 2010 season is over it should come as no surprise that many are looking for WalMart Memorial Day Sales in hopes of saving a ton of money when purchasing a new TV.  When looking to watch all of the games some would be much happier if they had the opportunity to save quite a bit of money online the way.

Today we learned that Mark Ingram is hurt and he will not play in the first game of the 2010 Alabama season.  While nothing is definite at this point it does not look like a bad injury and with the Alabama Crimson Tide expected to win this game by more than five touchdowns it should not be too much of a concern.  The bigger concern should be getting him back to a healthy state before the SEC conference season starts.  This is when the Alabama Crimson Tide will need him the most.  Their defense should lead the way this weekend anyway.

The season begins this week with a double header on ESPN Thursday night football.  We will get to see South Carolina play Southern Miss in Williams Brice Stadium and USC will fly to Hawaii to take on the Warriors.  This is going to be a great season and no better way to start it off than two great games.  Each game has a double digit favorite but I think these games will be much closer than the experts think.  Hawaii always plays well at home and South Carolina has a lot to prove but has been inconsistent at quarterback over the last few years.  Bring on college football!
