Over the next several months it will be the case that many Americans will think about sending 2010 Christmas eCards through mail or on the Internet as this is a method that could save a great deal of money. Almost all eCard websites offer 100% free electronic greeting cards to send during the holidays.
When thinking about the costs and expenses of a greeting card purchase it can really add up when it comes to time and money. Most people will visit their local retailer or stationary store which takes time and gas. Even if it happens to be on your way to somewhere else you will still have to take the time and effort to look at several cards and we all know that time is money. While looking for these greeting cards you could be doing something that is making money in other ways. With that being said, we can throw the time factor out and illustrate the amount of money that is going to be spent. With a 2010 Christmas eCard it is the case that you will spend no money.
When going out and purchasing a greeting card you will spend at least $2.00 just for the card or envelope. Even if you buy the cheapest card available it will still be the case that it costs at least a dollar to purchase a greeting card for this Christmas. After buying the greeting card, often with tax, you will then have to take the time and effort to write in the greeting card and address the envelope. While this is not a huge expense it is an effort of time that can add up. After addressing the envelope you will have to pay postage or drive the card to the destination. With a postage stamp costing .44 this money adds up. So adding up the money spent it is now around $2.50 and the time and effort and gas.
Instead, Americans can send 2010 Christmas eCards through email or on the Internet and save all of this money. Not only will they save money but they will also save time because sitting at one’s desk at home on in an office is something we do each and every day and it will take just a few minutes to surf over to an eCard website and find some very appealing greeting cards to send online. This does not even illustrate the fact that many of these eCards have animations that physical greeting cards cannot do.
